What is Meditative Inquiry?

Deepen Self-Connection

Meditative Inquiry is a form of guided inner exploration that combines meditative practices with intuitive dialogue.

It offers an opportunity to slow down, drop beneath mental noise, and connect with the wisdom of the body — the quiet intelligence that so easily gets overshadowed by the pace and demands of modern life.

These days it's very easy to get caught on autopilot: reactive, overstimulated, and disconnected from our intuition. Meditative Inquiry offers a calm, grounded space to connect within, become aware of energetic and emotional patterns, and gain insight on topics that matter most to you in the moment.

The purpose of the session is not to give you answers, but rather support you to access your own inner wisdom for clarity. This approach is most suited for those who already have some familiarity with meditation or mind–body practices.

This is for you if you are interested in…

  • Building your capacity for presence
  • Strengthening your intuitive abilities
  • Distinguishing judgment from awareness
  • Exploring energetic sensitivity
  • Unlocking somatic wisdom
  • Clarifying your intentions in specific areas
  • Deepening self-trust to take inspired action

Mediation

Meditative Inquiry can also be applied to conflict resolution.

It provides a guided space to see beyond any judgements and defence mechanisms that are muddying relational waters. Again, this is best suited to situations where both individuals have a background in meditation or mind-body practices.

Group Facilitation

Meditative Inquiry is also a powerful group practice — a way for people to slow down together and sense into a shared question.

In group sessions, participants are guided into a grounded, meditative space and invited to explore a theme through the intelligence of the body and the shared field. Participants often describe these sessions as expansive, connective and deeply insightful — a rare space where raw human experience can be shared and understood.

Group facilitation is available for communities, teams and organisations, online or in person.

About me

Sarah Keane

Sarah Keane

Consultant · Facilitator · Mediator · Coach

For the last 25 years I've been immersed in exploring ways to enhance health and wellbeing. I have worked as a trainer, coach, facilitator, health educator, and in more recent years as a consultant supporting a wide range of organisations. Throughout this time my interest in meditative practices, intuitive work and energy medicine deepened — and this led me to my current doctoral research project exploring consciousness, wellbeing and AI through meditative inquiry.

Despite being introduced to meditation as a teenager, it wasn't until my late 20s, when I was navigating major life challenges and bereavements, that I really experienced the profound relief and healing accessible through it. It sparked my interest in exploring many mind-body practices, and the world of energy medicine opened up. I trained in many different modalities that help relieve suffering and bring more ease and lightness to life.

I facilitated my first 1:1 session in 2011, and over the last decade I've spent summers volunteering in conscious community, offering sessions to individuals and groups undertaking deep transformational processes. I've supported hundreds of people navigating a broad spectrum of emotions and experiences — grief, shock, uncertainty about big life choices, heartbreak, rage and much more. I've also mediated many conflicts between couples, co-workers and friends to end in peaceful resolution.

In my experience the most powerful capacity in this type of work isn't having answers — but rather staying curious and receptive, and from this space, deep wisdom and profound energetic shifts can emerge that bring relief, clarity, more ease and lightness around the topic being explored.

To date, meditative inquiry is the most powerful way I've found to contribute towards the health and wellbeing of others. If this resonates or sparks curiosity in you — please reach out, I would love to hear from you
